The Blues will be without both Owen Garvan and Kevin Horlock when they face Watford at Portman Road on Saturday. The Irish youngster injured an ankle in the Coventry game, while Horlock picked up a rib problem in the same match.

The Blues drew 0-0 for the first time of the season, against Gillingham at the Priestfield Stadium. A draw was probably the right result from a scrappy game, although the Gills hit the bar late on.

Skipper Jim Magilton is Town's only doubt ahead of Saturday's trip to Gillingham. The Northern Irishman was substituted with a small calf tear at half-time in the 6-0 destruction of Nottingham Forest and missed the 1-0 win at Cardiff on Tuesday.

Town fell to a 3-1 derby defeat despite dominating a goalless first half. The Blues hit the woodwork twice and rued other missed chances when Malky Mackay put Norwich in two in front in the second half. Tommy Miller scored a penalty for a 10-man Town before Darren Huckerby added a deflected third.
